Best Solar Panels For Homes Of 2024

One of the most popular is to paint the gap between the cells in a dark color, making them look more homogenous. At Cromwell Solar, we bring more than four decades of solar installation know-how to every job, and work with trusted installers using top quality Tier One solar equipment. We have the experience and personnel to design and install solar throughout Kansas and Missouri.

Gauging the Bankability of Small to Mid-Sized Solar Installers

Before deciding on the best way to use solar electricity at home, assess the potential solar energy that can be produced at your address. Because PV technologies use both direct and scattered sunlight to create electricity, the solar resource across the United States is ample for home solar electric systems. One of the most enticing benefits of PV systems is the ability to achieve energy independence. By generating your own electricity, you can reduce or even eliminate your reliance on the traditional power grid.

Bacteria-enhanced Solar Can Boost Production in Cloudy Skies

Going solar can be a challenging process for homeowners — especially when speaking with different solar companies yields conflicting and confusing information. If your roof seems like a fit, use Solar.com to receive free, no-obligation bids on a solar installation for your home. However, many roofs are multi-faceted, and if your roof is mostly west- and east-facing, you’re likely to only see a percent reduction in the amount of energy you’re generating.

Development of solar cells

The higher its efficiency, the more electricity your panel will produce. Today, solar panels quoted on EnergySage generally range from 19.7% to 21.6% efficiency. Some of the most popular brands on EnergySage have efficiency ratings above 22%. SunPower offers the most efficient solar panels from EnergySage installers at 22.8%.

Other Energy Saving Guides

Once a solar panel system design is in place, permits and utility interconnection agreements are needed before we can proceed with a project. The process of obtaining permission to install and interconnect solar panels to the grid is usually the lengthiest portion of going solar. For most residential solar projects in Kansas or Missouri the utilities have (and take) 30 days to evaluate a solar plan.

Solar Rooftop System maintenance guide

There are so many details to take into account when choosing the right solar system for you. Did you know that 30 percent of San Diego’s power comes from renewable sources? If you live in a condo, you may think that solar is beyond your reach thanks to homeowners association (HOA) regulations. The increasing adoption rate of solar technology has led to both surprising innovations as well as obvious and practical applications. If you have ever driven through a residential neighborhood in states like California, Arizona, North Carolina, or any of the other top states for solar,... Hyundai Solar began in 2005 by Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), a popular player in the heavy industries sector, with production centers in Eumseong, Korea.

Solar Panel Efficiency - Pick the Most Efficient Solar Panels

Whether you’re driven by environmental concerns, a desire for energy independence, or financial incentives, a PV system is a significant investment in your future. Ensuring the system is installed safely and securely protects not just the installers but also the homeowners and the longevity of the system itself. The federal investment tax credit (ITC) is today's best solar incentive. Unlike a tax deduction (which reduces your taxable income), the ITC allows you to apply 30% of your solar system's upfront cost as a credit toward your federal tax bill. If you've overpaid your taxes during the year, you can even receive the ITC as a refund, as long as it doesn't exceed your total tax liability.

Photovoltaic solar panels come in three distinct types, distinguished by their construction and best applications. We found many customers report high satisfaction with REC Solar panels, specifically noting their impressive longevity and ability to withstand severe storms on the platform Solarquotes. Alternatively, some negative reviews mention poor performance, lack of in-stock products and that panels require frequent cleaning. Solar customers looking for one-stop shopping through their installer can appreciate the wide range of available Panasonic products.

#12: Solar Glass Panels for Aesthetics and Light Penetration

Spiral solar panels should be appropriately sized and strategically positioned to complement your property’s overall design. Selecting the optimal location for the panels, usually a south-facing wall, is vital for maximizing sunlight exposure. Panels should ideally be located in an area free of shade for most of the day. Thoughtfully arranging solar panels into specific shapes or patterns can offer a distinctive aesthetic appeal.

Consider your average daily kWh usage and peak sunlight hours in your location. Aim for maximum sun exposure all year round, considering the seasonal changes in the sun’s trajectory. In this comprehensive guide, we will delve into the fundamentals of PV systems, the design and installation process, and the benefits of harnessing the power of the sun.

SETO has funded projects that commercialized technology enabling homeowners to add a graphical layer to their solar panels so they blend in with the roof. Solar rooftop kits require maintenance to keep energy generation at the highest efficiency and for the longest possible time. The solar panels' efficiency must be maintained through routine cleaning. The accumulation of dirt, dust, and bird droppings can decrease the panels' efficiency. Incorporating solar batteries into your PV solar system significantly improves efficiency and reliability. These batteries’ voltages can be 12V, 24V, or 48V and store excess electricity generated during sunny periods, ensuring a stable power supply during cloudy or high-demand times.

It’s easy to confuse heat energy and light energy since we often experience them in tandem. As a homeowner, solar panel efficiency and cost may not be the only two factors you’re considering when deciding whether or not to go... One of the first questions homeowners ask when going solar is “How many solar panels do I need to power my home? Increase the number of panels – If you have limited sun exposure due to shading, pitch, orientation, or location you can simply add more panels. For example, Los Angeles averages around 6 peak sun hours per day while New York City averages around 4.5.

Moreover, there is an underwater sound system to listen to your favorite pieces of music while swimming. The Bill Gates’ house, called Xanadu 2.0, is spread across 66,000 square feet and contains a collection of rare manuscripts, one of which is written by Leonardo Da Vinci, and it alone is worth $8 million. Xanadu 2.0 was built using half a million wood logs, and if sold today, it will earn Gates over $145 million. The house was outfitted with fiber optic cables and each room has its own touch pad to control lighting, music, and temperature.

Six years later, Gates purchased the nearby Rancho Paseana for $18 million. Stretching 228 acres over 4 parcels, the property was originally a horse farm — which makes sense, given Gates' daughter Jennifer Gates Nassar's equestrian career. But he also owns dozens of properties across Washington, California, Florida, and Montana that are for his personal use.

While in Rwanda, migrants who obtain legal status — presumably to enter Britain — will also be processed, authorities have said, though it’s unclear what that means exactly. The government has said the migrants will have their papers processed within the first three months. Those who want to remain in Rwanda will be allowed to do so while authorities will also assist those who wish to return to their home countries.

"I'm certainly well taken care of in terms of food and clothes," he said. Ten years ago, in an interview with The Telegraph, Bill Gates discussed his goal of giving away his fortune — which was worth $65 billion then and sits at $129 billion today.

With the critical use of trees to cool this mansion, it is imperative to make sure they are well taken care of. It is believed that Bill gates even has a favorite maple tree that gets watered electronically every 24 hours or any time in between if it shows signs of dehydration. The first prominent thing you will notice about this house is how eco-friendly it looks. The house was built with 500-year-old Douglas fir trees, and 300 construction workers labored on the home — 100 of whom were electricians.

As you would imagine the mansion of Business magnate Bill Gates would be no less than genius. Bill Gates is the third richest man in America according to Forbes, with a net worth of $124 Billion. It took seven years to build Bill Gates’ House “Xanadu 2.0”, and it is now one of The Most Expensive Houses in The World.

NATO chief chides alliance countries slow to deliver aid to Ukraine

The property's most expensive feature is likely its 120 feet of Pacific coastline, but the move-in-ready mansion was listed as "one of the most prominent coastal contemporary beach homes" and boasted a 10-person jacuzzi and a two-bedroom guesthouse. Gates and then-wife Melinda purchased their fourth San Diego property, this 5,800-square-foot beach house, for $43 million in Del Mar, California, in 2020. At the time he purchased it, Rancho Paseana featured a racetrack, guesthouse, office, veterinarian's suite, olive orchard, and five barns with living quarters attached. It was previously owned by Jenny Craig, the weight loss personality, and was developed by thoroughbred racer Gene Klein and his trainer Wayne Lucas, according to a listing. But members on the House and Senate intelligence committees as well as the Justice Department warned that requiring a warrant would severely handicap officials from quickly responding to imminent national security threats.

From that point, the house changes to these settings in any room the guest enters. Additionally, if a person plays a song in one room, speakers behind the walls continue playing the song to any room they enter. The house is called Xanadu 2.0, a name derived from Charles Foster Kane's fictional home from Citizen Kane. This article will explore the most interesting facts about the house, from the exterior to the smallest features that set it apart from others in the country. The exercise facilities total 2,500 square feet and also include a sauna, steam room, and separate men's and women's locker rooms.

That doesn't seem to have stopped whichever Gates owns the property from doing major construction, with local outlets reporting noise and construction following the purchase. In 1999, he purchased a $12.5 million home on the grounds of Indian Wells' exclusive Vintage Club, known for its Tom Fazio-designed golf courses. One of those people could have been his then-wife, Melinda French Gates, whom he married after he had already begun work on the house. While she changed his plans for the kitchen and added her own office space, she may have never warmed up to the house. Known as Xanadu 2.0 — a name inspired by "Citizen Kane" — Gates' home base is Medina, Washington, a wealthy suburb of Seattle that's home to many tech titans.

As the political infighting dragged on in Washington, Ukrainian officials expressed particular alarm over the systematic destruction of crucial energy infrastructure, such as a power plant wrecked by missiles outside Kyiv this month. In some parts of the country, the targeting of electricity-generating plants has caused power cuts of a scope and duration comparable to those seen much earlier in the war. Just as important in that initial reaction was what Zelensky did not say. And Ukrainians were braced for at least a short-term redoubling of the near-nightly pummeling of cities and towns across the country with missiles and drones — which in recent weeks was exacerbated by an alarming depletion of Ukrainian air defenses. An angry Russia could try to get in more punishing attacks before more air-defense help arrives, some feared. All the while, senior Biden officials frequently updated McConnell and key House Republican committee leaders, including Reps. Michael McCaul of Texas and Michael R. Turner of Ohio.

When reached by phone, Madeleine Pickens said she wished the new owners well, the Wall Street Journal first reported. Getting permission to build in the area in the first place is a feat in itself. According to local officials, obtaining permits takes a while and is nearly impossible.

If the goal is to get a contract completed and have schools open on time in the fall, a public negotiation is a terrible idea, likely to produce a lot of grandstanding and speechifying. Those with experience in any high-stakes negotiation can tell you that representatives of opposing sides need to be able to speak freely with each other. Since then, the board has scrambled to insist to the public that it’s not going to close any of these schools nor will it reduce their funding — at least the majority of them. In the same breath, CPS leaders speak of substantial changes to the admissions process with the goal of providing more access to those schools for low-income and minority students. While a laudable goal in concept, details on those changes are essentially nil. Summer House Where to Watch and Stream

summer house season 8

“What I want for this summer is to actually spend time together,” Kyle told Amanda while the group was at the local carnival. Amanda argued that all Kyle does is “spend time in your office,” which is part of the disconnect. Reality Blurb was created to bring readers the latest and up to date reality TV news, updates and exclusive interviews. We cover an array of reality shows as well as reality television stars. Also on Instagram, as Queens of Bravo shared days ago, a photo surfaced of Gabby, Amanda, Ciara, Paige, and Kyle playing a balloon-popping game amid filming. But while Lindsay and Carl spent the Fourth of July in D.C., another report from Queens of Bravo confirmed that the two of them will be returning to Summer House for season eight, although in lesser roles.

Lindsay Hubbard confirmed that production on the reality show had resumed in July 2023 when responding to a fan’s Instagram comment. At the time, Lindsay shared a photo of herself posing in Washington D.C. Per a press release, the Summer House cast is embracing "a fresh start" on Season 8.

Chris Leoni is coming back to Summer House Season 8 as a part-time role. As the newest Bravolebrity added to the show, he clarified to Page Six that there’s more to him than what’s on screen. As one of the newest castmembers on the show, she reflected how she felt about her fellow cast to Entertainment Tonight. Danielle Olivera will be returning for Summer House Season 8.

“Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard have called off their engagement. The two were set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn’t move forward with the wedding. The breakup was filmed and will most likely play out on the next season of Summer House,” a source told Entertainment Tonight at the time. And while we’re giving Amanda her flowers, I will agree that she’s great on the show for someone who got on it only because she was dating Kyle, not because she really wanted to be there. In her eight seasons, she’s rage texted her partner in the middle of the night, she consoled every crying woman in the house including her archnemesis Lindsay, and is the only bridge between the many disparate factions.

What's more, "Everyone seems poised to indulge in the most carefree summer yet, but while some relationships start to take off, others become more fractured than anyone could have imagined." On Friday fans also learned that a new 'Wife is joining the cast for Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Dubai. When the new season premieres, they will get to meet Taleen Marie. Chanel Ayan, Caroline Brooks, Sara Al Madani, Lesa Milan, and Caroline Stanbury, are all returning for Season 2.

When the party moves indoors after hours, it fizzles a bit, but that mostly has to do with Danielle. She sits down with Gabby and asks her if she’s flirting with anyone. Gabby says that everyone acts as if she’s incapable of it.

They both want what is best for Gabby, and Danielle finally understands that her way is not always the right way. However, at the party, it doesn’t go nearly as smoothly. Jesse Solomon and West Wilson have been rumored to be joining the cast as they have been photographed with the Summer House stars. Former Summer House star Andrea Denver has also been spotted hanging out with the cast after making a guest appearance during season 7.

Meet the New Cast Members for Summer House Season 8

Their whole conversation there, which starts with Amanda saying Danielle thinks she’s stupid, is them trying to hype Amanda up, tell her that she is a great designer, a great partner, and a great friend. But that’s not the real concern of the fight, which is actually about Paige being mad at Danielle for saying that she gives Craig nothing. Paige tells Danielle that she made Gabby cry, and Danielle says, “That’s stupid.” Paige tells Danielle that she’s the moral compass, and if people don’t agree, then she gets mad about it. She’s using Gabby as an example, but that’s only because she wants to keep her one-legged silver jumper and reputation clean.

The show could go on without Amanda, but it wouldn’t be as good or nearly as peaceful. (I am only doing this to give her enough confidence to leave her husband so that I can have him.) The girls are right; Amanda needs to try something on her own without Kyle. The rest of the episode is really only about Amanda and Larl, but not together. Back in the city, Amanda goes to Old Navy with Paige and Ciara, and this must be a paid excursion because there is no way these girls hit up the 34th Street Old Navy on the reg.

When Summer House Season 8 premieres in February, the inner circle is growing by two and we have all the details on the two new cast members you'll be meeting in the new season. In the meantime, you can watch previous seasons of Summer House on Peacock and the Bravo App. Season 8 of Summer House comes after Season 7 of the series aired earlier in 2023. That season featured the cast of Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Paige DeSorbo, Mya Allen, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Danielle Olivera, Carl Radke, Samantha Feher, Chris Leoni, and Gabby Prescod.

"The fact of the matter is Lindsay is devastated and I'm crushed with how all this transpired. I graciously ask for some patience and grace to heal and recover while we navigate this extremely difficult time." Steps away in the kitchen, Carl says in resignation, "I’ll be the bad guy, that’s fine. But she’s blind to the things that have gone on the last year." Lindsay calls her father and tells him that Carl "told me he wants to call off the wedding and break up." "I’m not happy, and I don’t think you’re happy," Carl tells his then-fiancée.

C++ Wikipedia

c&f design fly box

Because certain characters cannot be part of a literal string expression directly, they are instead identified by an escape sequence starting with a backslash (\). For example, the backslashes in "This string contains \"double quotes\"." indicate (to the compiler) that the inner pair of quotes are intended as an actual part of the string, rather than the default reading as a delimiter (endpoint) of the string itself. Such array variables are allocated based on the value of an integer value at runtime upon entry to a block, and are deallocated at the end of the block.[1] As of C11 this feature is no longer required to be implemented by the compiler.

Usage as a letter variant in various languages

c&f design fly box

Individual character constants are single-quoted, e.g. 'A', and have type int (in C++, char). The difference is that "A" represents a null-terminated array of two characters, 'A' and '\0', whereas 'A' directly represents the character value (65 if ASCII is used). The same backslash-escapes are supported as for strings, except that (of course) " can validly be used as a character without being escaped, whereas ' must now be escaped. The type qualifier const indicates that a value does not change once it has been initialized. Attempting to modify a const qualified value yields undefined behavior, so some C compilers store them in rodata or (for embedded systems) in read-only memory (ROM). There are also compilers, libraries, and operating system level mechanisms for performing actions that are not a standard part of C, such as bounds checking for arrays, detection of buffer overflow, serialization, dynamic memory tracking, and automatic garbage collection.

Related languages

Both Unix and C were created at AT&T's Bell Laboratories in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Many universities and organizations began creating their own variants of the language for their own projects. By the beginning of the 1980s compatibility problems between the various C implementations became apparent. In 1983 the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) formed a committee to establish a standard specification of C known as "ANSI C".

Size and pointer difference types

(A more careful program might test the return value to determine whether or not the printf function succeeded.) The semicolon ; terminates the statement. The most common statement is an expression statement, consisting of an expression to be evaluated, followed by a semicolon; as a side effect of the evaluation, functions may be called and variables may be assigned new values. To modify the normal sequential execution of statements, C provides several control-flow statements identified by reserved keywords. The for statement has separate initialization, testing, and reinitialization expressions, any or all of which can be omitted. Break is used to leave the innermost enclosing loop statement and continue is used to skip to its reinitialisation.

The GCC 9,[64] Clang 9.0,[65] and Pelles C 11.00[66] compilers implement an experimental compiler flag to support this standard. This syntax does require special handling to encode a backslash character – since it is a metacharacter that changes literal interpretation behavior; not the literal backslash character. To demonstrate the value of the escape sequence feature, to output the text Foo on one line and Bar on the next line, the code must output a newline between the two words. The C# language definition and the CLI are standardized under ISO/IEC and Ecma standards that provide reasonable and non-discriminatory licensing protection from patent claims. Since C# 3.0 the syntactic sugar of auto-implemented properties is available,[82] where the accessor (getter) and mutator (setter) encapsulate operations on a single attribute of a class.

The C# specification details a minimum set of types and class libraries that the compiler expects to have available. In practice, C# is most often used with some implementation of the Common Language Infrastructure (CLI), which is standardized as ECMA-335 Common Language Infrastructure (CLI). In the C programming language, operations can be performed on a bit level using bitwise operators. Furthermore, (multi)maps (associative arrays) and (multi)sets are provided, all of which export compatible interfaces.

C++ Core Guidelines

Multiple inheritance is a C++ feature allowing a class to be derived from more than one base class; this allows for more elaborate inheritance relationships. For example, a "Flying Cat" class can inherit from both "Cat" and "Flying Mammal". An interface as in C# and Java can be defined in C++ as a class containing only pure virtual functions, often known as an abstract base class or "ABC". The member functions of such an abstract base class are normally explicitly defined in the derived class, not inherited implicitly. C++ virtual inheritance exhibits an ambiguity resolution feature called dominance.

The Basics And Pitfalls Of Pointers In C

Of all the Germanic languages, only English uses initial ⟨c⟩ in native Germanic words like come. Other than English, Dutch uses ⟨c⟩ the most, for most Romance loans and the digraph ⟨ch⟩. German uses ⟨c⟩ in the digraphs ⟨ch⟩ and ⟨ck⟩, and the trigraph ⟨sch⟩, but by itself only in unassimilated loanwords and proper names.

c&f design fly box

When performed on an unsigned type or a non-negative value in a signed type, the operation performed is a logical shift, causing the blanks to be filled by 0s (zeros). When performed on a negative value in a signed type, the result is technically implementation-defined (compiler dependent),[5] however most compilers will perform an arithmetic shift, causing the blank to be filled with the set sign bit of the left operand. Function overloading allows programs to declare multiple functions having the same name but with different arguments (i.e. ad hoc polymorphism).

Another way to use this freedom is assembling sequential data to one common buffer. On a system with a memory management unit, such as your average desktop computer, you will most certainly end up with a segmentation fault in the last line. The compiler complained because we wrote an integer into a variable that should be a pointer to an integer, and we should have listened. While individual strings are arrays of contiguous characters, there is no guarantee that the strings are stored as a contiguous group.

Whenever the C++ language designers had two competing ideas as to how they should solve some problem, they said "OK, we'll do them both". The idea of providing an output operator rather than a named output function was suggested by Doug McIlroy[2] (who had previously suggested Unix pipes). The letter ⟨c⟩ is also used as a transliteration of Cyrillic ⟨ц⟩ in the Latin forms of Serbian, Macedonian, and sometimes Ukrainian, along with the digraph ⟨ts⟩. Germanic languages usually use ⟨c⟩ for Romance loans or digraphs, such as ⟨ch⟩ and ⟨ck⟩, but the rules vary across languages.

This causes the compiler to replace that line with the entire text of the stdio.h standard header, which contains declarations for standard input and output functions such as printf and scanf. Separate tools such as Unix's lint utility were developed that (among other things) could check for consistency of function use across multiple source files. C (pronounced /ˈsiː/ – like the letter c)[6] is a general-purpose computer programming language. It was created in the 1970s by Dennis Ritchie, and remains very widely used and influential. By design, C's features cleanly reflect the capabilities of the targeted CPUs.

The extern storage class specifier is redundant when used on a function declaration. It indicates that the declared function has been defined outside of the compilation unit. In addition to the standard integer types, there may be other "extended" integer types, which can be used for typedefs in standard headers. For more precise specification of width, programmers can and should use typedefs from the standard header stdint.h.

The similarly shaped letter the (Ҫ ҫ) is used in the Cyrillic alphabets of Bashkir and Chuvash to represent /θ/ and /ɕ/, respectively. It previously represented a voiceless palatal click /ǂ/ in Juǀʼhoansi and Naro, though the former has replaced it with ⟨ǂ⟩ and the latter with ⟨tc⟩. Figures are either by definition, or approximated from empirical measurements. Throughout the 19th century, the scale was based on 0 °C for the freezing point of water and 100 °C for the boiling point of water at 1 atm pressure. (In Celsius's initial proposal, the values were reversed; the boiling point was 0 degrees and the freezing point was 100 degrees). The table shows the ASCII value a sequence maps to, however, it may map to different values based on encoding.

What the Returning Summer House Season 8 Cast Members Have Been Up To

This question, naturally (and very awkwardly), is posed while Craig is visiting for the weekend as he and Paige continue to navigate their long-distance relationship between New York City to Charleston, South Carolina. And things seem to be on the up in general, with Lindsay welcoming Danielle, Amanda Batula, Ciara Miller and Gabby Prescod to her bridal shower. She even predicts to Carl that she might be pregnant by summer 2024, adding, "So I feel like this is the perfect summer to just really, like, enjoy ourselves." The first shots of the trailer hold off on showing the exes at all, instead focusing on the trappings of their wedding, including a "BRIDE" makeup bag, as the two have strained conversation about trust and control.

After also sharing that Lindsay and Kyle will “allegedly will join the house next [weekend],” Queens of Bravo said Samantha Feher, Mya Allen, and Chris Leoni will be appearing on season eight as “friends” of the show, rather than full-time cast members. “I guess we’ll find out after the reunion,” she said. Lindsay also told host Andy Cohen that she was “hopeful” for a resolution between her and Danielle. Since then, she’s been spotted with her castmates filming and planning her supposed wedding with Carl for the plot of Season 8. Following weeks of rumors of his and Hubbard’s relationship status, he announced the news in a letter, which was obtained by PEOPLE, to family and friends that explained the decision. As Summer House fans have learned in the months since news of the broken engagement became public, Carl and Lindsay's growing alienation had a positive effect on her estranged friendship with Danielle Olivera.

She explained her beef with her former BFF Lindsay Hubbard to Entertainment Tonight. She talked about her conflicting schedules with her partner Southern Charm’s Craig Conover to Page Six. “Last year, I was on TV from September until the middle of the summer,” DeSorbo noted. “Craig and I have opposite schedules, so when I’m filming, he’s airing. I am on ‘Southern Charm’ more now because I go down to Charleston to visit him.

Which ‘Summer House’ Cast Members Are Returning for Season 8?

summer house season 8

This was the first episode that I noticed what a mess it is, and we are well past the halfway mark of the season. She did have an overly complicated costume to prepare for, so I will let this one slide. Also, she was in said room snuggling with West, and I think a snuggly West can erase most ills from the world.

While I see how Lindsay wants that, I can’t ever imagine that’s what she’ll do. Lindsay is one of those women who quits her job to raise the kids but then can’t find a brand of organic apple sauce she likes so she invents her own, markets it, and then sells it to Nestle for $30 million in four years. She’s a hustler; she likes to work, and she has lots of energy. He’s always struggled professionally since we met him in his More Life days.

The couple called off their engagement in August 2023 — less than three months before their wedding — and cameras were rolling throughout the whole ordeal. Working in Investor Relations and a veteran of the Hamptons summer and standing tall at 6’5, he’s never had an issue with the ladies and doesn’t plan to start now, regardless of their relationship status. With a big milestone coming up at the end of summer, Jesse opens up to his new friends and finds solace in their support. Danielle wants Gabby to employ the strategy that works for her, and Gabby just wants everyone to get off her damn jock already. Gabby wants to be pursued, and that’s fine, but then she needs to not complain so much about how she doesn’t have a dude.

Meet the New Cast Members for Summer House Season 8

At BravoCon 2023 on Nov. 3 it was confirmed that a new season of Summer House will be back. Find someone to make you a sandwich because watching TV should be fun and you can bet that's going to be the case when Season 8 premieres in 2024. In Season 7, Cooke and Radke’s relationship was rocky, but both have cleared up the rumors that they aren’t friends anymore. The cast confirmed that they were filming when production for the show resumed in July 2023 in Washington, D.C. Cast members Paige DeSorbo and Amanda Batula shared pictures of the Summer House backyard. Putting the proverbial nail in the coffin, Carl's stepfather tells him, "I've been a minister my whole career. And I've married tons of people. I wouldn't marry you and Lindsay."

Carl tells Kyle that Lindsay wants him to “hustle” and make money, so she can be a stay-at-home mom, something they hadn’t previously talked about. Carl admits to his mom and stepdad that he’s afraid of Lindsay’s temper, and Carl’s stepdad advises him to reconsider getting married right now. Here are some of the highlights from Summer House Season 8, Episode 10. As a number of cast members were spotted enjoying what appeared to be a carnival in Montauk, New York, a report shared who will be returning to the show and teased new additions as Lindsay confirmed to a fan that she was “not filming” on Tuesday. Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke’s wedding was supposed to be on November 17, 2023.

But the winter is about to get a whole lot funner when Summer House Season 8 premieres on February 22. Never miss a story — sign up for PEOPLE's free daily newsletter to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from juicy celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. The Summer House season 8 trailer comes four months to the day from when Carl officially called off the wedding to Lindsay, which was supposed to take place in Mexico this past fall.

While they both promised to “start something new” in regards to their relationship during the June 2023 reunion, neither have revealed where their friendship stands now. "Working in Investor Relations and a veteran of the Hamptons summer and standing tall at 6’5, he’s never had an issue with the ladies and doesn’t plan to start now, regardless of their relationship status," the bio continues. "With a big milestone coming up at the end of summer, Jesse opens up to his new friends and finds solace in their support." In the new season, “Summer should be fun, and our favorite housemates seem poised to indulge in the most carefree summer yet. But while some relationships start to take off, others are revealed to be more fractured than anyone could have imagined, according to a description from Bravo. News broke that after less than three years together, Lindsay and Carl broke up and ended their engagement on August 31, 2023.

After the alien party, Kyle and Carl clean up, and Carl talks about his conversation with Lindsay the night before. He gets where she’s coming from, wanting him to be a bit more employed, but he’s saying just what many in the comments section said last week; it’s not like Lindsay has much more of a job. I liked that Carl put some numbers to show how much they’re making being “influencers.” Lindsay pulled down $150,000 the year before in paid post, and Carl netted $70,000 mostly because he’s a dude and has fewer followers (but not by a ton). I would guess they’re also both making around $200,000-$300,000 a season on the show.

Samantha Feher, Mya Allen and Chris Leoni will reportedly be featured in part-time roles. Throughout summer 2023, the Bravo stars have been spotted partying and filming in the Hamptons following the drama that ended last season. When Summer House season 7 ended, Lindsay and Carl were at odds with almost the entire cast, including Lindsay’s former bestie Danielle. However, most of the group seemed to make up while filming season 8, based on group pictures that were taken throughout the summer. The same can’t be said for Lindsay and Carl, who ultimately broke up towards the end of filming after getting engaged in August 2022. Get ready because this summer the Summer House crew is welcoming to new faces to the house.

Danielle immediately starts grilling her about her love life (or lack of it). Welcome to the Summer House Season 8, Episode 10 recap! In this week’s episode, titled “The Parent Trap,” Danielle makes Gabby cry and refuses to apologize.

Tent Rentals: 30x40 Tent Los Angeles, CA

30x40 design

He designed every piece of furniture and, fixed their positions, to curate the overall experience, both inside and out. Although most people have limited budgets and patience for this degree of design integration (especially after 27 months in construction), for architects it remains an aspiration. Founded by the exquisite interior designer Robyn Jensen, Jensen Interior Design is a treasured name on our list of top interior designers in LA. Ron Woodson and Jaime Rummerfield are the principals and creative directors of this award-winning interior design firm.

We’ll be upgrading the range from a slide-in to a pro-style range and to keep grease at bay we’re installing a new, whisper quiet hood and ductwork. Replacing the door + drawer fronts was an easy decision given the condition of the yellowed and chipped veneer and we knew this would clean up the esthetic with relatively little effort. There’s an entire industry that’s grown to serve this market - a sure sign we’re not the only ones with this problem! The bag has a tiny pouch for SD cards, but I prefer to keep mine in a Pelican Case so I’ve repurposed it to hold an Apple AirTag.

Interior Design with an Architect's Eye: My Process

Its mission is to provide personal attention while offering a high level of design that adheres to the client’s aesthetic and budgetary goals. Watch and follow along as I draw a floor plan for a new residential project in AutoCAD. See the settings, lineweights, and graphic conventions I use to make my drawings beautiful and readable. I recently added a 360 camera to my kit, the Insta360 OneX2 can be set up in the center of a space, connected to my iPad and in a few seconds I can record of construction progress for an entire room. Designing a home involves many decisions, from furniture and color choices to lighting and accessories.

This skin is incised to open views to the sea beyond and relies on light steel framing and thin braces to preserve the simple forms eroded toward sweeping views. To the west, slot windows were positioned at the vertical mid-point of the wall directing a standing viewer to the moss of the forest floor and a seated viewer to the trunks and foliage. This changing horizon line as one moves from standing to seated positions adds a visual richness to the simple structure. On the roof are two linear skylights of matching proportion to illuminate the central meeting and gathering space and offer a view to the ever-changing sky. I’m sharing this - in part - to hold me accountable, and also because I genuinely enjoy seeing how others do this too. Instead of setting goals, I set a schedule for making and managing; designing an ideal day that prioritizes creative outputs.

Every aspect contributes to the overall look, feel, and function of the space. Without a concept guiding our decisions, it’s easy to simply collage and combine images we like of disparate ideas. Economy informed almost every decision in our design, beginning with the simplest and perhaps most iconic building form, the gable. We were drawn to the fallen birches in the surrounding forest as well as the Native American longhouse within which a singular space made for efficient heating and communal gathering. Our thought was to make everything plain and accessible, easily changed, removed, retooled, tattooed, fixed, and added to.

Time spent on construction sites has unquestionably made me a better architect and improved my design process. During construction, I visit the job site as often as I can, it’s the best way to avoid surprises and keep the lines of communication open with the construction team. In the video below you’ll see how I prepare and pack for these field visits and all the gear I bring with me. The sketch is purposefully open-ended and left open to multiple readings.

In this latest installment of the modern practice series, Henry shares exactly how he did it. Finding a secret sauce of your own making will take some experimentation, just remember that AI is a mirror for your own creativity. Plying it with interesting prompts it’s become an indispensable office intern who has helped to reinvigorate my design process with fresh ideas and new perspectives. No more stickies lining my monitor's perimeter, or bookmarked links in random folders; when it's project-related, I have a place to paste it and keep track of it. As design professionals, our work involves handling an abundance of information.

We don’t linger there though, I prefer to further cull the images and develop a story board presentation (see images below). We want to create our own unique work, derived of our own ideas not simply a collage of rooms taken from dozens of other spaces. I find using story boards in the process helps my clients see the home as their own unique design. Use this working drawing in AutoCAD .dwg format as a guide to improve your own drafting conventions and to replicate the visual and graphic style Eric uses in his architecture practice.

They were an inexpensive, sustainable choice and we loved the look of them. For a time, we lovingly treated them with mineral oil and we never actually used them as cutting surfaces. You can see (image below) the area that suffered the most next to the sink where we kept our dish drainer and mat. All of these things we knew might happen and we were accepting of them because we knew that if it bothered us too much all we had to do was sand to restore them to their original condition. In the absence of a budget for stone, we still think this was a good decision.

It can be easy to look at someone else’s journey and feel like they had it all planned out and perfectly crafted from day one. The fact is, we all face struggles along the way and my wife and I wanted to share some of the personal and financial challenges we’ve faced over the past ten years. Constructed from premium materials, this tent was designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind.

One of the few places we chose to spend in the original kitchen design was on the island pendant light. We loved the look and quality of light it produced from the six MR16 halogen bulbs. This too suffered from collecting dust on its many surfaces and exposed wires. Over time the wire connectors have loosened and only three of the light reliably stay illuminated. Time for a new fixture here and we’ll also upgrade the downlights by the range to LED. The counters were purchased in 2007 on an epic run to the nearest IKEA just south of Boston (6 hours away).

Every Friday afternoon, I meet with students enrolled in my Architect + Entrepreneur Course to discuss their progress, professional challenges, and help guide their next actions. When he enrolled, his skills were being underutilized by his employer, and he was struggling to make ends meet in one of the most expensive cities in the US, San Francisco. Unsure if the risk of setting off on his own was the right thing to do, I reminded him it wasn't an all-or-nothing decision. To wrest more control from the AI, you may be inclined to create longer, more precise prompts which, in my experience, can produce mixed results. The recipe below balances precision with room for Midjourney to be creative. Manual drafting tools are relics of the past; we don’t use these in practice today as everything is drawn digitally.

Today, Waterleaf has completed projects ranging from beach cottages along the California coast to a penthouse in Singapore. Their clean, timeless, and classic style is also reflected in their store located in the heart of Manhattan Beach. When I designed our home - the Longhouse - in 2007, I treated it as an experiment. With a tiny budget and two young kids, humble materials + simplicity were solutions born of necessity. Fast-forward fourteen years and it’s time to update + address a few of the choices we made that haven't aged well. We pressed pause on the construction of the Outpost project in early 2021 and onboarded a new contractor to see us through completion.
